Shown during the 2023 Visionaries exhibit as well as the United Airlines terminal Black History Month Exhibit, "Why Can't I" is a testament to the black women's tanacity and brillance. This 48x36 inch piece features astronut Mae C. Jemison floating in a dream space surrounding by mathmatical equations and the names of the black women who came before her.
