An Outdoor Black Cinema Series by Taona House
This summer, we’re bringing the culture to the patio. Reel Ones is a bi-monthly outdoor movie night spotlighting iconic Black filmmakers who’ve shaped the way we see ourselves on screen. From timeless throwbacks to modern classics, each screening pays tribute to the storytellers behind the lens.
Grab your lounge chair, bring a friend, and pull up for a curated cinematic experience under the stars—where the vibes are grown, the films are legendary, and the community is real.
Each screening we’ll honor a different Black director with a featured film, a themed atmosphere, and nostalgic touches that celebrate Black excellence in film.
This is not just movie night. It’s for the Reel Ones.

We are accepting Vendors who sell - Clothing, unique crafts, art and merch. (Hip-Hop or Movie Culture Relevant Vendors Wanted) (No digital product vendors, No candles, No Bodycare products, No Food, No Drinks) Vendor must be 21 or older and provide own set up materials. Purchase of the outdoor vendor ticket is for entry of the vendor and one helper.
